I am taking Pantoprazole and Risedronate. Should I take them on an empty stomach at the same time or at a different time of day?

I take risedronate once a day on an empty stomach on Sundays and I have a prescription for pantoprazole for 7 days (with celecoxib). I would like to know how to take the pantoprazole on Sunday since I heard that there is an interaction between it and risedronate? Should I take it on an empty stomach at the same time or at another time of day for Sunday?

Hi, I would like to know if the Risedronate you are taking is a delayed release tablet? If so, then there may be an interaction between the Pantoprazole and this delayed release tablet. Ideally, Pantoprazole should not be taken on the same day as Risedronate so that it is well absorbed. If you are taking a Risedronate without a specific release, then the ideal intake would be Risedronate --> 30 minutes later, Pantoprazole --> 30 minutes later, lunch with the other medications. I hope I have answered your question! Have a great day!
