I had an ear infection and I'm finishing my antibiotic treatment, but I still have a ringing in my ear. What should I do?

Good evening ma'am,
It is possible. It could be caused by a buildup of fluid in the ear (even though there is no more bacteria, the body has protected itself by sending out "fluid" that is still present).
In such a situation, I recommend that you simply try the modified Valsalva technique, which consists of:
  1. Pinching the nose with the fingers;
  2. Closing the mouth;
  3. "Blowing" as if to unclog the ears;
  4. Swallowing quickly.
This puts negative pressure in the throat which drains fluid from the middle ear into the throat (and reduces the wheezing).
You can do this technique 4-5 times a day.
If this does not reduce the wheezing after 3 days, you could try using Dristan or Otrivin 30 minutes before the technique for best results.
Happy evening,
