My left ear is blocked since the sinus rinse. What can I do? Will it go back on its own?

Hello, I started a cold and I did sinus rinses. One in the morning and one in the evening. When I did it, it hurt my left ear. Since then, I feel like my ear is blocked.

Hello ma'am, how long have you noticed this?
Have you tried any other options for your symptoms right now?
Are you pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding?
Do you have any known allergies, intolerances or contraindications?

Hello, I have a blocked ear since Sunday. I tried to plug my nose
my nose, close my mouth and blow to try to unclog my ear, but it didn't work. I am not pregnant and I am not trying either. I have no allergies or intolerances.

Thanks for the information!
A decongestant nasal spray such as Drixoral or Dristan may help, but it should not be used for more than 3 to 5 days. You should also check with your pharmacist to make sure it is safe for you.
10 to 15 minutes after spraying, I suggest the valsalva maneuver you tried: take a deep breath, then close your mouth and pinch your nostrils together and try to exhale as if you were blowing into a balloon while keeping your lips closed.
If this does not work after 3 days, you should see a doctor, if only as a precaution.
I will be available if you have any further questions!
