Will a third dose of the COVID vaccine be required for the vaccine passport if I have had COVID?

34-year-old woman2 years ago
I currently have the Omicron and I am at the end of my confinement. Yesterday the government announced that we would need 3 doses for the passport, but since I have already had the variant, will I absolutely need the 3rd dose for my passport? Or is 2 doses + having already had the covid ok?

Hello, thank you for your question!
For now, having had the disease provides protection similar to receiving a third dose of vaccine. It is not necessary for you to receive it. If you wish to receive it, it is recommended to wait at least 8 weeks.
The details of the vaccine passport for those who have had 2 doses and have had the disease are not yet known: the 3rd dose will not be "added" to the passport any time soon, as the vaccination of children and the administration of the 3rd doses are still in their infancy.
I hope I have been helpful to you, please do not hesitate if you have any further questions!
