I am 60 years old and have had COVID, should I receive the 3rd dose of the vaccine?

Third dose: Question. Is it advisable to get the third dose, if I have the long Covid? I had the Covid in December 2020 and I am starting to get better...My second dose was given in September 2021.

Hello, thank you for your question, very pertinent!
The Quebec Immunization Committee does not recommend a booster dose if you have received 2 doses of the vaccine and have been diagnosed with COVID (having symptoms alone is not enough, you must have been diagnosed by Public Health). You are considered protected at the same level as those who have not had COVID and have received 3 doses.
However, you may get the booster dose if you wish, if the time since the last dose is respected.
I hope this has been helpful to you, and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Hello,
How long should I wait if I had my second dose on September 8?
Thank you,

Do you think I could be penalized for travel if I have two doses? Or for my vaccination passport?
Oh how complicated it is.
Thank you for your advice.

Hello! I just checked the Clic Santé portal and it seems for the moment that the minimum age has been raised to 65. I invite you to be on the lookout for changes that could be made any week now.
Here is the website to check your eligibility:
