Can I take any pastile/syrup at the pharmacy with my synthroid?

I am taking synthroid because I have no thyroid gland and currently I have a sore throat and a bit of a cough.

Hello,
Be sure to avoid products that contain a decongestant such as pseudoephedrine. Otherwise, keep an interval of 2 hours between taking your synthroid and the syrup.
Would you like me to suggest an appropriate syrup for your type of cough?
Is it a dry cough without secretions or a cough with secretions?
I look forward to hearing from you!

yes please. Cough with secretions.

For coughs with secretions, we try to help the body expectorate the secretions.
The best expectorant product is GELOMYRTOL. It is a capsule that is taken 3 to 4 times a day with plenty of water.
If however, you prefer a syrup, although less effective, there are syrups based on guaifenesin (ex.: Benylin antimucositis). If in doubt, don't hesitate to ask the pharmacist when you are in the pharmacy.
Hope to see you soon!
