Considering the possible consequences of this type of infection on the course of the pregnancy, the majority of practice guidelines indicate that the use of Nidagel is ok during pregnancy. However, it is considered safer to avoid it during the first trimester.
Since you are in your first trimester (congratulations by the way!), please advise your pharmacist, who can contact your doctor for a safer alternative (clindamycin vaginally)
