Come back and they said you can't take a decongestant for more than 3 days. What should I do to fix the congestion in my nose.

Hello,
The products we have in our pharmacy do not cure nasal congestion, but control it for a few hours
Decongestant sprays (e.g. Dristan, Otrivin...) should not be used for more than 3 days because otherwise they can cause rebound congestion.
Vicks can be continued without restriction however
It is however possible to continue a spray such as Hydrasense for longer periods of time without any problem.

Hello again, I want to know what is rebound congestion?
And if I use coldrops, is it effective for nasal congestion or can I just take hydrasense vapo
Thank you

Rebound congestion is nasal congestion caused by a medication used to control congestion. Many patients have already fallen into this vicious circle: you take a decongestant to clear your nose, but it causes more congestion, so you take another decongestant that makes the congestion worse, and so on.
Coldrops contains menthol, which is also an ingredient in the Vicks inhaler. So there would be no advantage to using both at the same time.
The Hydrasense spray can be used long-term without the risk of rebound congestion. It is a safe choice.
