Do I need to go to the pharmacy to get the morning-after pill? Or my pill that I forgot now, in 12 hours...?

Hello, I have been taking the Yaz pill for years and it is rare that I forget one. This week, I forgot to take my 5th birth control pill of my cycle and I just realized it (48h) later.

Hello, if I understand correctly, you forgot 1 dose, which was taken 48 hours after the previous dose and which was during the first week.
According to the recommendations of the CHU of Quebec:
Missing a pill > 24 hours or more than 1 pill in the first week :
Take 1 pill at the time you notice the forgetfulness, throw away the forgotten pill(s), and take 1 pill per day until you finish the pack.
Use another method of birth control (e.g., condom) if you have sex within 7 days of missing a pill.
Use emergency oral contraception (morning-after pill) if you have had sex within 5 days.
Depending on your situation, it may indeed be appropriate to go to a pharmacy to get the morning-after pill.
Have a good day.
