How long will the symptoms last if she forgot to take her Duloxetine for 2 days and she feels bad?

My friend is taking Duloxetine 60mg and missed 2 doses. Today she is not able to go to work. She took her medication again today. She has nausea, vomiting, trouble sleeping, chills/cold and anxiety. She wants to know how long it will last.

Hello,

The reported effects could be related to withdrawal effects related to missing several doses of one's medication. Indeed, some people experience withdrawal effects rather quickly. However, the symptoms improve quite quickly when they are taken again, usually within 24-48 hours.

I would still recommend that you suggest that your friend contact her local pharmacy that serves her medication so that you can better assess the situation with her.
