I have had persistent nausea for a month now, even with my treatments.

I have been taking two Metonia tablets three times a day ( 5 mg) for persistent nausea for a month. I stopped because it was causing me a lot of agitation. I was prescribed Domperidone. It did not relieve me. I was advised to take Gravol. After 4 hours, the nausea came back. So I took Metonia again but one tablet 3 times a day. I had two days of respite, but last night the nausea came back. What should I do?

Hello Ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles!
Has a possible cause been suggested for this persistent nausea? What has your doctor told you? What other medications are you taking? Has there been a change in your health or habits/diet/stress level in the last month?
Has the combination of Metonia and Gravol at a lower dose been suggested, for example? Have you discussed this with your pharmacist?

I had an abdominal ultrasound. I have gallbladder stones that do not require surgery. I need a CT scan. I am waiting for the appointment. I went to the pharmacy and they advised me to take Gravol as well. I stopped the Tamoxifen that I had been taking for 10 years. I had two days without nausea. Yes, I have more stress because of my physical condition. I have been taking Celexa for 15 days 10mg which I will increase in two days to 20mg. I had nausea before. I don't have a. Md of family. I am in an FMG and will have a new resident on July 8. Thank you for such a quick response. Can lowering the Metonia help me be less agitated?

Thanks for the feedback!
If Metonia is causing agitation, a decrease could be tried to see if you can keep some efficacy while improving tolerance. You could indeed try supplementing with Gravol, even if it means cutting in 2 if necessary.
