Is Naprocen esomeprazol more recommended than regular Naprocen? And can I have this one if my dr prescribed me Naprocen regular?

Naproxen is an anti-inflammatory medication, used to reduce pain and inflammation. One of the side effects of this family of drugs is irritation of the stomach, so it could cause you to have heartburn for example.

The second drug you mention, Naproxen-esomeprazole (Vimovo) is actually a combination of two drugs. Esomeprazole is a medication used to protect your stomach, it decreases the production of acid in your stomach.

Some people are more at risk when taking Naproxen and need protection (for example, if you have had a stomach ulcer).

If your doctor has prescribed Naproxen alone and you think you need protection for your stomach, talk to your pharmacist. Depending on the situation, your pharmacist may be able to prescribe this protection or discuss it with your doctor.
