Is there any way to relieve the cough other than doing the sinus rinse I did and giving acetaminophen? Thank you

Hello, my 23 month old son has been coughing since yesterday and we are waiting for tubes. He currently has a runny nose and cough. Last night he coughed almost all night long, keeping us both awake, there is mucus and his throat seemed to be sore from coughing so much.

Hello ma'am, you did the right thing with nasal hygiene which I encourage as often as necessary during the day and at least 30 minutes before meals and bedtime . Also encourage your child to drink a lot, even if it means giving smaller amounts more often. These are the only safe and effective measures for your child.
