Can domperidone prevent sleep?

Hello I am currently giving motiliun / domperidone to my 3 month old baby for about 1 month. For the last 2-3 weeks she has not been sleeping very well. She wakes up every 1-2 hours crying. Naps during the day are impossible. Can I stop the medication to see if it will help baby sleep better?

Hello Mrs, I want to reassure you, this is very common at this age (we went through this period ourselves)! Basically, your little one has to "relearn" a new daily schedule and learn to let herself fall asleep when tired at each new stage of her development That being said, domperidone may cause drowsiness more often. In terms of discontinuing the medication, I do not have enough information to adequately advise you.
