My 8 month old seems to have an eye infection. The left eye (only) has some green goo since yesterday. What can I do?

It could be a bacterial conjunctivitis, since there is presence of green secretions and only one eye is affected.

I therefore advise you to consult a doctor or an optometrist so that he can prescribe treatment if he deems it necessary, since your child is very young.

In the meantime, you can gently wash your child's eye with a compress. You also have to be careful about the spread of germs, since it could be a bacteria, which is contagious.
