My boyfriend and I have been trying to have a baby for over a year now. We would like to know if it is safe to take Zoloft and Femara together?

I take Zoloft and my gynecologist prescribed Femara to stimulate my ovulation because since my ectopic pregnancy I have more or less present periods and long cycles... Zoloft is for my anxiety I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (Boderline) as well as generalized anxiety.

There is no interaction between Femara and Zoloft. You can use them together. Regarding the use of Femara, I recommend that you talk to the doctor who prescribed the medication to confirm how to take it in the context of a possible pregnancy.

Thank you very much for your answer, I would like to have your opinion on Femara. I have heard rumors that Femara can cause deformities in a baby in a future pregnancy. My gynecologist did not tell me about this, what is your opinion?

In fact, according to the reference consulted on the subject (Briggs, 10th Edition), the use of Femara is contraindicated in pregnancy. In fact, cases of malformations have been reported with this drug in women who took it during pregnancy. It is unlikely that your gynecologist is not aware of this information. He or she probably has information about the proper use of this medication in early pregnancy. I recommend that you have a discussion with your gynecologist about this.
