How much ML can I give my baby Benadryl? If he has abdominal discomfort with a food, can I give him some too?

Hi, my 6 month old daughter just started eating solids. I was told to buy benadryl in case of a reaction.

Hello,
On one hand, to calculate the dose of Benadryl to give, I would need the concentration (mg/ml) of the product you have on hand.
On the other hand, if your child has abdominal discomfort or difficulty digesting a new solid food, it is not recommended to give Benadryl. It will not work. If your child has a minor allergic-type reaction (red patches, itching), Benadryl can be given. If the reaction is severe, then an epipen should be given and you should seek advice. If there is a history of food allergies, severe eczema and severe hay fever in the immediate family, there is a greater chance that the child has food allergies.
