Feeling of a lump under my wound?

Bump under a wound caused by a branch received on the cheek. The wound is healing well, however, a lump the size of a dollar has formed. What could this be and should I be concerned?

It is possible that a cut causes scar tissue underneath.

However, it is impossible to know for sure in a medical evaluation. If you notice that the problem persists, you should consult a physician as a precaution.
