Should I worry about refusing milk in the morning or is the total amount of milk drunk at the end of the day important?

Hello, My 3 month old daughter refuses to drink her bottle in the morning. On average she drinks between 500 and 600 ml of milk per day (half formula milk and half breast milk that I give her in the bottle). At night she takes a good bottle between 120 ml and 150ml, but in the morning she refuses to drink and pushes the bottle away.

Hello, my baby is 3 months old. She is a full term baby but seems to have a small appetite since birth. On average she drinks 500-600 ml a day. In the morning she drinks mini quantities (40 ml-50 ml). Sometimes she even refuses any bottle for 5 hours. Is it the total amount of milk taken at the end of the day that matters or should refusing a bottle in the morning be a concern?

Good morning, ma'am,
What matters is the following:
If your child wets and soils the diaper, especially if the urine is clear;
If your child is gaining weight
If his or her general condition remains good.
If this is the case, just monitor the situation and encourage your child to drink often, even if it means giving smaller amounts :)
I will remain available if you have any further questions!
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
