Pain, irritation and bleeding in the anus for 1 week, what to do?

24-year-old woman2 years ago
Hello, About 2 weeks ago, I started to have anal pain after having anal sex with my partner. After a few days, the pain went away and everything was back to normal. However, this week, the pain returned when I have a bowel movement. Also, I have itching and when I wipe myself, there is blood.

Hello Ma'am,
Have you tried or applied anything for this?
Do you have any other symptoms like hard stools or constipation?

No,
I haven't done anything yet, I haven't noticed any difference in my stool either.

Thanks for the feedback!
Anusol Plus ointment, available without a prescription, can be applied to the irritated area (inside and outside as needed) 2 times a day and after each bowel movement.
Avoid prolonged sitting on the toilet bowl, this is a position that can make the situation worse. Get up as soon as you are done (don't read the newspaper or your cell phone there for example)
I would also advise avoiding anal sex for the next 2-3 weeks at least, to give the mucous membranes a chance to heal.
If it does not seem to improve at all after 2 weeks, or if it gets worse, you should see a doctor.
I will remain available if you have any further questions
Cordially
