Should I be concerned about the color of his stool? Should I consult again? Is there anything we can do to help?

Hello, My 4 year old boy has lost his appetite for about 5-6 days. Last Monday, he had a fever and was very tired. He had a stomach bug (diarrhea only) during the night. Since then, he has been having 2 soft stools a day but hardly eating. We consulted him yesterday because he had a lot of pain in his belly because he was preventing himself from going to the bathroom for fear of having soft stools. The pain went away when he went to the toilet. He sleeps well and has a good condition in general although he plays less than usual. Today, he still eats very little. We notice that he is losing weight. I notice that his stools are very pale (beige, yellow and a little bit of pale green). I don't know if this is normal in case of gastro.

Hello!
The most important thing is his general condition. As long as your son is feeding, even if less than usual, wetting and soiling his diaper and his general condition remains good, continue to monitor. Encourage your baby to drink often, even if it means giving smaller amounts more often.
If the diarrhea does not improve after 7 days, you should see a doctor as a precaution.
I will be available if there is anything
