I have a migraine and I am 36 weeks and 2/7 pregnant. Can I take my sumatriptan pills? Thank you

Hello Ma'am,
During pregnancy, the use of triptans should be limited as much as possible, as there is not much data on their safety during this period of life.
On the other hand, when triptans must be used, sumatriptan is always recommended, as it is the one that is less likely to cause problems for mom and baby.
In other words, you can take it from time to time, but you should still limit its use.
