Should I put drops in my ears as a prevention or do a sinus rinse. I asked the question but it was in the undesirable

Liquid in the ears. The doctor only said no antibiotic. But did not say what else to do

Good morning, ma'am,
How old is your child? Does he have any other symptoms such as a runny or blocked nose, even a little?

Hello, 20 months old. Since the little earache, we just had a positive covid test 🥴. But this was not the case a week ago. At the time of consulting, he had no other symptoms, just rubbing his ears (that's how I suspected ear infection in November and January). I have several friends who use drops, but I wanted a professional opinion.

I have been doing a sinus rinse every day since. He no longer rubs his ear.

Thank you for the information, I'm sorry for the delay in my response, I hadn't seen the notification!
If your child is not complaining or appearing in pain, and if there is no discharge, I suggest continuing nasal hygiene as often as necessary (especially if there is nasal discharge or congestion) and at least 30 minutes before bedtime, followed by suctioning with a baby fly.
I will be available if you have any further questions!
