My 10-week-old daughter has red, dry patches on her chest and stomach?

Hello, for the last 2 days my 10 week old daughter has had red and dry patches on her chest and stomach, it doesn't seem to bother her. I changed my body soaps and laundry soaps but it's been a while and it's the first time that these patches appear so I don't know if it could be due to that anyway. I applied aveeno odorless moisturizer and I also tried aloe vera cream and no change in 2 days and I would say it got worse. What to do with it? Would using Benadryl cream be an option?

Hello, thank you for your question, but it is impossible to give an opinion without having first seen the lesions you are referring to, which is impossible here. I therefore recommend that you go to the pharmacy to show the lesions, either directly with your child or, even better, by bringing a photo. The pharmacist on duty will be able to direct you to the right product based on his observations, or recommend a medical consultation if he deems it necessary.
