The Ste-Justine method is not working for my baby, what should I do?

Hello, my baby has secretions from his nose. I am trying the Ste-Justine technique for nose washing. I have tried lying on her side and sitting slightly forward and in both positions the water never comes out of the other nostril...I feel like she is sucking it in and swallowing it...I used to use 3ml of saline solution and now I have increased it to 5ml, no difference. Good morning, Madam, Generally, the nasal hygiene techniques indicated in the CHU Ste-Justine guide are preferred. If you have tried the lying down and sitting up technique with one or two people and it was not effective, you can generally also try the Hydrasense baby nasal aspirator starter kit. This kit can be found at the pharmacy and there is a video on their website explaining its use.
