Can the medication (Saxenda) cause a delay in my period?

I am almost 10 days late with my period, my cycle is rarely regular, but never late like this. I started taking Saxenda 10 days ago as well. I did a pregnancy test after 5 days of late period and it was negative. I had 2 mornings with red spoting but nothing more.

Saxenda™ does not usually cause a delay in menstruation, no.

Stress, however, may be involved here. Are you feeling anxious about taking a new medication?

If you have been sexually active in the past few weeks, I think we could otherwise do a pregnancy test again tomorrow morning.
