Can I take a cold/sinus product while nursing?

Hello, can I take medication for colds/sinus while breastfeeding. Baby is 8 months old and I am not taking any other medication.

Good morning, ma'am,
These products contain decongestants that can decrease milk production, even after one use, and are therefore not recommended.
Nasal hygiene with saline such as Hydrasense or Sinus Rinse is still the best option and can be done as often as needed during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
Tylenol and lozenges such as Halls or Fisherman's Friend can provide local relief of throat pain and irritation if you have them.
I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot, as you prefer.
If symptoms persist for more than a week without improvement, you should consult a physician as a precaution. I will remain available if you have any further questions!
