Will the medication work on the tinnitus? If not, is there any chance it will stay perpetually?

Hello, I just went to the hospital today and I have an acute otitis media with tinnitus. I was prescribed prednisone (60mg), an antibiotic and avamys. However, it is really the tinnitus that bothers me the most...I have no known health problems.

If the tinnitus is caused by inflammation, the prescribed products should help relieve it.

If no improvement is felt after 5 to 7 days, I suggest consulting a doctor.
