What should I take for a cold if I am pregnant?

I have a cold/flu! My nose is running a lot and I am pregnant What medication can I take? Would tynelol cold be okay?

Hello, thank you for your question!
This type of product is not recommended during pregnancy (or breastfeeding for that matter).
I would opt for nasal hygiene with saline solution like Hydrasense or Sinus Rinse, which can be done as often as needed during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. It's a little uncomfortable but works wonders to prevent mucus from flowing down the throat, which often causes coughing.
I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot depending on your preference.
Tylenol is safe to take if you have pain (head, throat...), as well as lozenges like Halls or Fisherman's Friend.
Finally, I would advise you, if you have not already done so, to take a rapid test for COVID. If you don't have a test, don't go to the pharmacy, send a loved one or ask for delivery.
