Can propranolol cause itching?

Side effects of propranolol. Started 10mg bid and several side effects at first. Since the effects have diminished, I have a lot of itching in my head, arms, hands, wrists and Legs. This is the only dose I tried. i have the impression that it coincides and other causes, perhaps change of temperature and fatigue.

Hello ma'am, Did you have these effects with a lower dose? Does the itching coincide with the start of this medication? Are there any other causes that you can think of? Thanks for the feedback, I'm sorry for the delay, I didn't see the notification! It is not impossible that the medication causes this side effect but it is rather rare. The first line of treatment will be the application of a fragrance-free moisturizer like Aveeno, Base Glaxal or other as often as needed during the day, whenever the urge to scratch arises. I also suggest using a fragrance-free soap like Dove. After bathing, you should avoid rubbing the skin vigorously to dry it. Instead, I suggest lightly tapping to leave a thin layer of moisture and applying moisturizer quickly after getting out of the shower.
