Hello, ma'am,
As for over-the-counter medications, they contain molecules that expand when they come into contact with the liquid in the stomach, making you feel full. Many other products are based on green tea and caffeine, and act as diuretics: they make you go to the bathroom more often but do not address the real problem.
Basically, weight loss is only possible on a sustained basis over time by adapting a healthy diet and exercise.
There are a few prescription options, both oral and injectable, but these are mostly reserved for the very overweight and must be used in conjunction with the measures mentioned above.
Finally, these medications have been studied in adults (18 years and older), and are not recommended for younger people.
