I am taking an anti-inflammatory medication and I wonder if I can add something to make it more comfortable

Medication : Naproxen, due to a blow received in the back within the framework of my work. I consulted a doctor who determined that it was not muscular.

Hello,
Naproxene can be taken at the same time as acetaminophen (Tylenol) or the combination of acetaminophen and methocarbamol (Robaxacet). Be careful not to take Robax Platinum or Robaxisal which contain another anti-inflammatory drug, so cannot be combined with naproxen. You should also not take Advil, Motrin or aspirin which are anti-inflammatory drugs that should not be combined with naproxen
You could also get the acetaminophen/codeine mixture that is behind the prescription counter (usually at the lab cashier). However, codeine is a narcotic that can cause more side effects (drowsiness, constipation) and addiction. It may provide additional relief, but I would not strongly advise it.

Many thanks. Since it's been a few days, could the heat help?

Yes, applying heat (heating pad, magic bag, elastic band or Thermacare band) can help, especially if the injury is a few days old.
