My doctor wants to prescribe me a medication (Flomax) for prostate problems. Will I have the same side effects?

At first he prescribed me (Alfuzosin) but I had to stop because of side effects like headache, drowsiness, decreased libido and erection. Can Flomax cause the same side effects? Thank you

Hello Sir,

Yes, there is a risk of some of the side effects being present as well, since Flomax is sort of the "cousin" of Alfusozin).

That said, in my experience, Flomax™ is usually much better tolerated.
