Hello,
in children over 6 months of age, a dose of 0.2 to 1g per kg per day of LaxAday is generally recommended, for a maximum of 17g per day (the adult dose). So in your case, if the child weighs 21 lbs, you can give up to 9g per day, which is a little less than half the measuring cup that comes in the LaxADay jar (the cup usually measures 17g, when filled to the top).
The product should be given 1 time per day. The powder should be diluted in 100mL of liquid. This product usually takes 1 to 3 days to take effect. If the problem persists despite this, you will need to consult the pediatrician.
