Tylenol is the only over the counter medication that is safe during pregnancy

If it has been successful in relieving at least 25% of your pain (for example if the pain was 7 and is 5 with Tylenol), it is considered effective

Having said that, if the pain is not at all relieved by taking Tylenol regularly for 1 to 2 days, you should consult a doctor, as a precaution.
