It can happen to me in the summer but it's mostly when I travel to hot countries that I swell up... I tried compression stockings for the plane.

Hello,
some people experience water retention in hot weather. Heat causes blood vessels to dilate and water to leak into the tissue.
Generally, we advise the person to eat less salt, to move more, to change position frequently, to hydrate well. Cold water on the legs and massages can promote better circulation.
It is a good idea to use compression stockings, which can help your blood circulation.
If you see that your condition is getting worse or otherwise, it is always good to meet with your professional, as in your case, before leaving for the heat to get further advice.
I hope I have answered your question!
