Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles!
How long have you been experiencing pain of this magnitude?
Is it due to an accident, exercise, wrong movement or other?
What have you tried for the pain to date?
Have you consulted a doctor and/or physiotherapist?

Since 1 month. It appeared overnight. I tried anti inflammatory creams, tylenol, dibuprofen and methocarbamol for the muscle pain and I do cold and hot compresses. I did not consult a doctor because I do not have a family doctor.

Thanks for the information!
If you have had at least partial relief with one or more of these options, and have not had any adverse effects (e.g. gastric irritation with ibuprofen or drowsiness with methocarbamol), you can continue. However, if the pain has been present for 1 month and there is little or no improvement, or if you are unable to identify a possible cause, I believe that you should consult a physician (e.g. walk-in clinic) or a physiotherapist. They are the best professionals to assess the pain and develop a realistic treatment plan with you to not only relieve the pain but also prevent it in the future. Most group insurance plans cover this type of service.
I hope that I have been helpful to you and remain available if you have any further questions!
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
