stomach ache and pain when I go to the toilet what should I do

Hello, I received a positive result for chlamydia a few weeks ago. I then took the prescribed antibiotics and did not have sex for at least 12 days. However, during my last intercourse I felt pain during penetration and when I urinated. Note that I had no symptoms of chlamydia when I found out. I was wondering if this was "normal" what should I do? Can chlamydia be serious?
