My wart changes color during treatment, is this normal?

I have a plantar wart. I bought the treatments at the pharmacy and since then my wart hurts more than when I didn't start the treatments. I had only small white spots at the beginning and now it is a black spot. I had them before, about five years ago. Is it normal to have pain after the treatment and for the blackhead to be present when it wasn't at the beginning?

A little discomfort may occur with this type of treatment, but if the pain continues to increase, you should stop using it and consult a doctor, purely as a precaution.
It is not abnormal for the wart to change its appearance at the beginning of the treatment.
