Can stopping Diclectin cause headaches?

Hello, I am 21 weeks pregnant and I have been taking Diclectin (prescribed by my doctor) for several weeks against nausea. I was taking 2 tablets in the evening and 2 tablets in the morning. For the past few weeks, I feel like my nausea is decreasing (as it often does in the second trimester of pregnancy, it seems), so I wanted to decrease the dose to see if I still needed to take the Diclectin (I try to limit my medication intake during pregnancy, so if it's not necessary, I'd rather not!) So I started gradually and for the last 3 days I have been taking only one tablet in the morning and one in the evening. Fortunately, my nausea has not returned, but I do have a headache.

I am 21 weeks pregnant and have been taking Diclectin for several weeks for nausea (2 tablets in the morning and 2 in the evening). As I have the impression that my nausea has diminished, I decided to decrease the dose to 1 tablet in the evening and 1 tablet in the morning (since 3 days). I don't have any nausea, but I have a headache. Is this normal?

Hello ma'am,
Headaches after stopping or reducing this medication is unlikely, but not impossible. Many factors can cause headaches. I would suggest that you continue to taper off Diclectin if you are no longer nauseated and take Tylenol if your headaches continue
I remain available if you have any further questions!
Sincerely,
