My ear and tongue have been hurting for 5 days. What can I do to fix the problem?

Hello, I have had pain in my right ear for almost 5 days and it is present all the time. I also have pain in my tongue on the same side (right). This pain gets worse when I eat. I tried to put drops in my ear (auralgan) a few times, but it didn't help. I also took advil a few times which helped the pain. Thank you for your answer!

You have done well with the Advil, I advise you to continue it if it is effective and well tolerated Given the pain described and the ineffectiveness of Auralgan, I would suggest stopping it. The drops will not be effective in such cases. If the pain persists for more than 7 days without improvement , a doctor should be consulted to properly assess the situation and, if necessary, not to delay the proper treatment.
