Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles!
In order to better understand your needs, would it be possible to obtain the following information:
  • When did you first notice these symptoms?
  • Do you have other symptoms such as a runny or blocked nose, even a little?
  • Have you tried anything for this?
  • Are you currently taking any other medications?
  • Do you have any allergies or intolerances, are you pregnant or trying to get pregnant, or are you breastfeeding?
Thank you

Hello, it started intense on Saturday night. The cough was present before but only at night. My nose is not blocked and does not run. Nothing tried for the moment. I take citalopram. No known allergies. Not pregnant and not breastfeeding. Thank you for your help

Thanks for the feedback.
Your first intention is still Tylenol for chills and aches. Lozenges such as Halls or Fisherman's Friend can relieve throat irritation locally. I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot depending on your preference.
First, if you have not already done so, I suggest that you have a quick test for COVID. If this is negative, I suggest contacting your pharmacist who will be able to assess the need to request a flu test and/or suggest a treatment according to his or her judgment.
I will remain available if you have any further questions.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist

Thank you for your opinion it is appreciated!
Do you think the back and rib cage pain in the front can stay for long? That's what makes me hesitate to consult but it's hard to get an appointment with your doctor :(
thank you and happy holidays!

The pain can be more felt in times of fatigue or illness, the important thing is that it remains temporary, 5 to 7 days maximum without deterioration.
