Sorry for the delay in responding. Someone's social media post generated several thousand hits on the platform and it seems that the pharmacists in your area were overloaded. Usually, the response time is faster.

In such a situation and in the absence of a fever, the best thing to do is to simply take plenty of water, rest and wait. The vast majority of people with your symptoms will be pain free after about 7 days.

For pain is swelling, I recommend taking Advil™ and avoiding acidic or otherwise throat irritating foods.
