Hello, For a few days I have had a pain in my throat. I can feel my ganglions when I touch them. For the moment I take ibuprofen every 4 hours. Should I go and see a doctor?

In a situation like this, we only consult if your modified Centor score is 3 or higher (https://www.inesss.qc.ca/fileadmin/doc/CDM/UsageOptimal/Guides-serieI/Guide-PharyngiteAmygdalite.pdf, page 2).

If, on the other hand, your score is 2 or lower, we do not consult. You continue with the Advil™, drink plenty of water and rest.
