I have had a sore throat and difficulty swallowing for a week. Should I see a doctor?

I had a little fever, but only for one day. I take Tylenols to reduce the pain temporarily as well as throat lozenges. I am not taking any other medication and have no known health problems.

Hello Sir, In such a situation, you should consult only if you have a modified Centor score of 3 and above. If your score is 2 and below, then your symptoms are probably caused by a virus and thus should be gone on their own in a few days. Good day, Alexander
