my ear hurts when I swallow?

Hello, I have pain in my right ear when I swallow What to do with my earache, I went to see a doctor but there is no otitis, I have a cold I guess there is a link between the 2 I went to the doctor for a cold on Tuesday (hacking cough, runny nose, earache when I swallow) and the doctor said it was just a cold. However, I went to the doctor because I thought I had pneumonia since there are many cases at my job (daycare teacher). I took tylenol, tylenol sinus cold, sinus rinse, nasonex, drink a lot, gelomyrtol. I had pain on Tuesday the day of my consultation and the next day everything was ok. Since yesterday this problem has started again, with tylenol I am relieved but it always comes back.
