I have pain in my cystic area, is it possible that it is a pilomidal sinus or that it is not?

Hello,
Pain in the tailbone may indeed be due to pilonidal sinus or other factors (poor posture, fall, etc...).
If you have been diagnosed with pilonidal sinus in the past, it is likely to be a recurrence.
Pain is one of the symptoms. Pilonidal sinus is also characterized by the presence of redness, swelling and/or purulent discharge.
Bref, if you see an abscess in this location, you should see a doctor.
Hopefully, you have been answered,

If it is an infection, then yes it can be treated with an antibiotic.
