I have oral herpes. Is it possible to have access to a medication to reduce the frequency and duration of future outbreaks?

Hello,
For people who have several infections per year (e.g., more than 5) or who are very, very bothered by the presence of lesions on the lips (e.g., discomfort), it is possible to prescribe a treatment that is known as a suppressant. This treatment consists of taking an anti-viral pill every day.
Alternatively, it is also possible to use products in the form of cream. Some are available over the counter at the pharmacy, but most of the time prescription creams (e.g., acyclovir) work better in people.
True to your heart,
