Is nail polish harmful to nails in the long term?

A base varnish, the varnish itself and the finishing varnish. Is it too much, does it dry out the nail? This is what I applied.

This is a very good question that I unfortunately do not have an answer to. Since nail polish can be made up of a multitude of ingredients, it is virtually impossible to know whether or not it has an adequate long-term impact on nail health. I would say to discuss it with your nail care professional to see if your nails are brittle or need a "break" from polish.
