Can Tobradex cure conjunctivitis?

39-year-old woman4 years ago
My daughter has conjunctivitis and I am starting to feel the symptoms last time I took polysporin for conjunctivitis but I ended up with an even bigger infection and then keratitis. I don't remember if I can use tobradex for conjunctivitis.

Hello Ma'am,
Tobradex™ is not usually used to treat conjunctivitis, no. The presence of cortisone in this product is simply unnecessary and may actually make your symptoms worse (especially if the bottle has been open for more than a month).
It is better to try using Polysporin™ drops.
Good day,
